Kakawate Elementary School started as a primary school in 1969 with the leadership of an Officer–In–Charge (OIC) in the person of Mrs. Mirriam C. Mariano
It was established as complete elementary school in 1988 to respond to the needs of the pupils for intermediate education and this was realized through the joined efforts and initiative of the Sangguniang Barangay and concerned citizens of the community. San Jose del Monte continually develops until it reaches its cityhood and Kakawate Elementary School being part of the City; it has also gradually improved not only in terms of academic achievements but also its physical environment. Building sprouted as the community continuously develops to be responsive to the needs of the populace. Kakawate Elementary School has 18 classrooms in all. Eight classrooms are highly considered for demolition; Three classrooms in grade-4 is classified as needs major repair and seven classrooms are in good condition after having major repair. The school is located at Barangay Paradise III, City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. It is operational with some various problems of security, and financial concern for physical facility improvement. Despite of these problems, improvements are still visible because of the school’s initiative and in partnership with stakeholders which are in private sectors and GPTA officers. Academic performance is maintained on the average level and continually improving through the leadership of Ma'am Kristel May G. Bernardino as the school Principal since 2019 up to present. |
